Lafayette Citizen Journal Contributors

The Lafayette Citizen Journal is a citizen-sponsored publication. There are approximately 12 citizen journalists who have joined efforts to inform and educate the public about issues that affect our community. We offer news with views and political commentary. We're always looking for new writers, so if you have an interest in becoming a writer for this web-based publication, please contact Anna Friend at annafriend@gmail.com.

News tips are always welcomed. Your information will be kept confidential upon request. We also accept video submissions. If you see a public official or a public employee violating the law or behaving rudely, please send us the video and we'll gladly post it, because sunlight is the best disinfectant. Screeching liberals need not apply. Their views are over-expressed via the mainstream media.

The views stated via this blog do not necessarily reflect the views of the creator of this blog or those associated with it. Writers are responsible for their own written expressions.

We welcome comments, but please be patient as you wait for them to appear. We have chosen to preview comments prior to publication, because we want to eliminate trolls who launch personal attacks. If you want to be a troll and hurl insults you will feel more welcomed at the Lafayette Journal and Courier where poor conduct abounds. We will do our best to monitor this site as time permits.
