Man Says Police Officer Assaulted, Falsely Arrested Him

A similar scenario recently happened in our community to the 20-year-old passenger of a friend he was riding with.  The driver was pulled over for having a license plate light out.  The passenger was asked for his identification and he told the officer that he didn't have ID with him.  The young man stated he was threatened with arrest several times for not having a  driver's license with him.  Because the young man knew his rights, the officer finally relented and walked away, but not before reportedly calling the law-abiding citizen a "d**k."  What the officer may not know is that the passenger recorded the conversation.  This is why it is imperative that video cameras be used when dealing with the police.  Your freedom and your day in court may depend upon it.

You can read more about the arrest in the video at this link.
